They Proposed To Them In The Greenhouse During A Summer Storm
When we moved here last fall, Christa became my inaugural Denver tattoo artist—I finally got to return the favor by photographing their greenhouse proposal this July! Under the pretense of needing to replace their "fuzzy cactus" (which, adorably, was also our signal codeword), they brought Sean to the plant-scape the pair have been frequenting for some time. A sudden thunderstorm shook the ceiling as the shop parrots alternated between chirps and hellos. Christa knelt with a teddy-bear ring box. Sean obliged. It was a beautiful and quiet moment of joy, and together they wandered the rows upon rows of flora in the happy afterglow.
